Roof Box Fittings

We use three main types of fittings to attach roof boxes securely to roof bars: Clamps, U-Bolts, and the Thule Easy Snap U-Bolt system.

Clamps

• Top clamps – Used on our Hapro Traxer boxes, suitable for bars up to 95mm wide.

• Middle clamps – Used on all Thule, Exodus, and Halfords Advanced boxes, suitable for bars up to 80mm wide.

• Force XT & Motion XT clamps – Designed for Thule Force XT and Motion XT boxes, suitable for bars up to 90mm wide. These models can also be fitted with a T-Track system if required.

All clamp fittings are quick and easy to attach or remove, making them convenient for regular use.

U-Bolt & Thule Easy Snap U-Bolt

These are more basic fitting systems, shown at the bottom of the page. While simple, they are older designs that we no longer use in our current range.
